We consider the state of Indiana to be our "Judea" in the Acts 1:8 Challenge. We are actively involved in reaching groups and individuals through church planting and relationship building.
Northside has coined a new term for folks who take their musical talents and go on mission for the Lord: Musicianaries. We have several members who regularly carry the gospel around our state in the form of song.
Highland Lakes Baptist Camp in Monrovia, Indiana is a wonderful retreat place for people of all ages. Northsiders regularly support the camp financially and through working on construction projects.
Disaster relief is also an important mission. Last year, groups of Northsiders traveled to nearby cities in Indiana, such as Columbus, to minister to people affected by torrential rain and devastating floods.
Two Northside members, Steve McNeil and Bev Olonoh serve on staff at the State Convention of Baptists in Indiana. Steve is the Church Health and Communications Team Leader and Bev is the team associate.
